    What was your biggest illusion that was shattered once you stepped in the classroom?

    That I would get everything done that I had planned. You will create amazing lesson plans and have wonderful ideas of how you will finally "make your kids succeed", but that all goes out the window on day 1. The trick is to focus on 1-2 things and do them well, as opposed to 7-9 things and get frustrated.

    I prefer to call you George, if that's ok. You can call me Loop. So glad you started a blog so that I can keep up with your life and pretend to know stuff when people (STILL) ask, "Oh it's been so long! How's George?" Hahaha. I have a blog here too, but it's more of a "confessions of Loop's iPhone." Join it!
